Pitch Hill Mountain Bike Trails
Pitch Hill has something for all mountain biking abilities with a vast range of trails that can be accessed directly from Walking Bottom car park, just outside the centre of Peaslake. There are also many unofficial trails on Pitch Hill, including some black grade trails on the steep southern and western sides.
At the top of Pitch Hill is a view point giving stunning views across to the South Downs in the south and of the Greensand Ridge to the west.
Pitch Hill is part of The Hurtwood and you therefore have the “right to roam” which means you can ride on all trails, including footpaths, unless there are signs specifically denying bikes. Please follow the Hurtwood Bikers’ Code when riding on Pitch Hill.
